My journey up until now. - Jake Le-Moigne

I was born and raised near the city of Southampton and am currently studying Acting and performance at SHU. My aim after these three years is to successfully develop the right skills in order to professionally work on stage or screen. My passion for the Arts began from a young age as I have always been amazed with the feeling theatre gives and have always wanted to be a part of it myself.

Whilst down in the South I had the opportunity to work with Nuffield Southampton Youth theatres for a few years, I was lucky enough to be a part of a few Shakespearian shows such as Much ado about nothing as well as twelfth night Which helped build my appreciation for more classical and serious plays, as well as polish up my finer acting skills

In college I took both Performing Arts and Production Arts to gain a better understanding on how the stages works as well as the actors performing on it. In those two years I took part in a few musicals such as: Hairspray, Come from Away, RENT, etc. In the future I would love to be able to work more in screen as it’s not something I’ve worked as much on

  • Hi Jake, welcome to the community. This is a great first blog, and a good introduction to you as a performer. I look forward to seeing how your actors' bio changes this year as you get involved in more and more projects with us.
