About the Project:
In partnership with our MA Film students, we're offering you a chance to play a key role in their learning journey. You'll work with students who are passionate about the art of film production. This unpaid opportunity is designed to help you build your portfolio and to network with emerging filmmakers.
Your Role:
- Prepare independently in advance of the shoot (scripts will be provided).
- Act under the guidance of our MA students.
- Collaborate on scripts provided, with room for slight variations.
Project Details:
- Shooting times: 09:00 - 18:00
- You must be available on a minimum of two days from the following dates: 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 November. Exact dates will be confirmed upon application.

Meet Our Experienced Supervisors:
Our MA Film Student projects are coordinated by our experienced MA course leader, Colin Pons, a renowned filmmaker responsible for creating captivating works such as Acid House, iLL Manors, and HUSH. Colin's outstanding filmmaking background adds a unique perspective to the project, and his expertise will ensure a seamless and dynamic experience for all involved.
Our MA Film Student projects are under the expert guidance of two industry professionals. Debbie Howard, known for her work on shows like Emmerdale, Doctors, and Coronation Street, brings a wealth of experience in short form drama and television soap operas. She's joined by Professor Virginia Heath, a multi-award-winning filmmaker with expertise in short-form drama, documentary, and archive. Both supervisors are more than capable of teaching all genres and will provide invaluable insights as they nurture your talent and help you succeed in this unique learning opportunity.
