We are lookng for 2 people to play main roles in our final film project. The film is set in the 1950's post Nucler war, it starts out as a very typical 1950's sitcom and gradually gets darker, as the main character deals with a mental ilness called dissocative amnesia an illnes that makes a person forget life vents due to trumatic events. The film focuses on Elizabeth, a young housewife who has survived the nuclear blast, her husband Andrew and their young child, as the film progresses subtle things begin to change for example, parts of the house start to deteriorate, bruises, cuts and sores appear on the characters faces, their clothes become more dirty, ect. By the end of the film Elizabeth will be alone, the set will be near enough completely destroyed and things will have taken a dark turn as she acts out her normal daily tasks around a family that no longer exists.
Characters needed -We are looking for a 2 main character Elizabeth and Andrew..
Elizabeth -
- A woman aged 21-24 or looks within these ages.
- Must be able to do a 1950s accent
- Must be comfortable with romantic interactions with the Andrew character (hugging and maybe kissing on the cheek at the most, subject to discussion )
- Preferably natural hair colour, but a wig can be souced if needed.
- Any tatoos or face percings been to be able to be covered.
- Must be comfortable with wearing SFX make up (patch tests will be carried out before filming )
Andrew -
- A Man aged between 22-25 or looks within these ages
- Must be able to do a 1950s accent
- Must be comfortable with romantic interactions with the Elizabeth character (hugging and maybe kissing on the cheek at the most, subject to discussion )
- Preferably natural hair colour
- Any tatoos or face percings been to be able to be covered.
- Must be comfortable with wearing SFX make up (patch tests will be carried out before filming )
Filming will take place within a week in Febuary 2022( yet to be confirmed) , this is an unpayed role, however costume and makeup will be provided.
