Hello!

I am Naiara Gallego, Film and TV production student at Sheffield Hallam University. Some of my classmates and I are currently producing a drama short film for one of our modules and are looking for a female actress who is up to take the role and available on the dates the shooting is taking place.

• Female Actress: 18-25 years old. 

• Logline: After attending a funeral, Faith spends an afternoon drinking with her best friend, Cain, in an attempt to escape her grief. As time passes, she’s forced to confront the devastating truth of Cain’s death and make peace with letting him go.
  
  

• Synopsis: A girl named Faith attends a funeral. After leaving she heads out to get alcohol and ends up sitting in the usual park, where she meets up with her best friend, Cain. Faith and Cain get drunk, she passes out. In her trance, she remembers moments she shared with Cain. Faith wakes up a few hours later, and Cain has disappeared. She returns to the church where the funeral took place, storming inside. Faith enters and breaks down in the corridor between the pews and cries for hours. Faith eventually returns the funeral card to its place, while "Cain" tells her to let go of it, and with that, she leaves the photo Cain shared with her. Faith smiles remembering all the moments lived with her best friend, starting to accept that Cain is no longer here.

• Shooting: Selective days between 19-30 November. In Sheffield.
