We're running some simulated clinical scenario education sessions for the Diagnostic Radiography course at Sheffield Hallam University,
These sessions will be running at Collegiate Campus on Monday 3rd and Thursday 6th February.
For this, we would like someone to play a frustrated / irritated patient who is trying to find out what is happening with their care, while our students attempt to complete a medical test.
We have a session plan, but mostly it will be improvising and reacting to the students' attitude and approach, and debriefing at the end about how they communicated, how they made you feel, how they could improve, and so on.
Each session should last no longer than 10 minutes (with a 10-15 minute debrief after), with about 6 - 7 sessions max each day.
t me know if you'd be interested and would like to know more!
