Alongside a team of people who work in the arts, you’ll be paid to create an original show that will be performed to a large, live audience. The show will be based around combatting marginalised gender biases of all forms, using YOUR ideas from social movements, your lived experience, and the positive change you want in the future.
This scheme is part of angry girls, a project by Chol theatre. Born in February 2023, angry girls is a collective of young people and artists in Sheffield exploring contemporary feminism. The project aims to challenge the media’s portrayal of women’s anger as hysterical and irrational and amplify the voices of young women, girls and marginalised genders.
