A comedy/drama short film including a chase scene.
A criminal of dastardly minimalistic crimes plagues the city that never sleeps, and with the police force up to their eyes in work, one man steps up to the job and finds himself knee-deep in trouble. It’s a classic good cop/bad cop routine, but there’s no good to be found around here.
Two actors needed:
'Bad Cop' - Male aged 22-34. The grizzled, tough-cop who thinks he’s the best there is at what he does, but could not be more wrong. People think he’s the classic rough, doesn’t play by the rules “bad cop”, but he’s just an idiot who sucks at the job. He’s often put on cases nobody else can be bothered to do. He speaks with immense seriousness, wears sunglasses, and kicks ass. He’s the leading detective chasing the crime in this film.
Stunt work will be required for this role, but stupidly funny stunts is all.
'The Faceless' - Any gender, any age. This villain has one witness illustration; a simplistic, childlike drawing. The character is known for the worst crime ever heard of: child forgery. They pay their way in the world by using child prices for things (train tickets, meals, clothing, books, etc.) They also dabble in mass murder, but nobody really pays attention to that. The wanted poster sketch will turn out to be their actual face.
Chase scene will be involved, so must be fit.
