10-15 minute student short film, as part of a final year university assignment
Billie is an actress who is forced into mental anguish after her partner Dameon has an affair at a party with a girl named Angelica. She tries to fight through the pain until she breaks when meeting Angelica again and recites her Lady Macbeth audition while murdering Angelica.
We are looking for:
Main Role
Billie, Female, 18-25. Billie is a troubled actress seeking the role of Lady Macbeth in a theatre production. She becomes unstable after the sadness she feels when her partner Dameon cheats on her at a party. Under so much pressure she breaks after meeting Angelica again and murders Angelica while giving the performance that she was missing.
Secondary Roles
Dameon, Male, 18- 28. Dameon is a clueless self indulgent cheater who doesn’t understand the severity of his unjust actions towards Billie and Angelica. He is very emotional and ends his ties with Billie when he understands his actions.
Angelica, Female, 18-25. Angelica is a caring individual who is deeply angered and upset by dameons actions throughout the film, and seeks to rectify these mistakes and help Billie who she also sees as a victim.
This role requires you to get close with the other actors and the directors and we may ask you to come to a screen test on a few occasions, so we can perfect the chemyistry between the characters. The film will also have a screening at the showroom cinema later next year.
