How did I get here?: from madman to drag queen

My name is Jamie Rawson, born on the 28th of October 2001 the youngest of two children having a sister two years older than me. I have been acting, mostly as part of school work, since primary school.

But I first realised my interest in acting was more than just a hobby when I was 16, during my high school's performance of beauty and the beast in which I played maurice. The feeling of standing in front of the audience listening to their applause during the closing of the show is a feeling I will never forget.

Yet after that it would be two years before I did any acting, taking a year in college to study business, a topic I found so boring my teacher said I should stop. It was during what would be my second year i started studying acting, performing play such as Punk Rock and Bent, In which I played a drag queen, monologues such as the cowards soliloquy from hamlet and life in a box from rosencrantz and guildenstern are dead, yet throughout it all I had doubts, worries rooting from the phrase "it's not about what you know, it's about who you know," yet here i am, ready to entertain.
