I'm the Technical Tutor for A-Level Film Studies at a Sixth Form in Sheffield. I'm searching for local actors to appear in my student's coursework film projects.
We're a hugely successful department and we produce professional quality short films. Examples of our work can be found here:
Our films screen and compete at national and international film festivals. Recently, one of students won the Best Film award at the world's largest film competion for young filmmakers, the Into Film Awards.
We're currently preparing 17 short films and are looking for a range of actors to appear in our films.
I personally supervise the productions and ensure each film we make is of a high standard. (No shoddy sound or dodgy camerawok!!)
It's sadly unpaid (Apologies), however if you're looking to build or update your showreel, we shoot with a high quality 6K Cinema camera and I can guarantee the final film will be a professional looking addition to your portfolio.
Once completed I will send you a digital download and you will be able to use it in your showreel or share online without any restrictions. We also screen all films at our annual showcase which takes place at the Sheffield Cineworld.
