today we experiemneted with foley sound. This was my  first expereince doing things like this. This morning we learned about how the expererts use different things to create everyday sound. " using everyday objects to create realistic sound effects, Foley artists can bring movies to life and create a more immersive cinematic experience" Examples of this includes using hands on a wooden floor to mimic bare feet, a pinecone for cracking ice or blowing bubbles into water for a teapot boiling. I done this one. Whilst watching the rest of my group perfrom there foley sounds it was really interesting, i go to have a small insight into what exactly would happen before i went in the booth. When i stepped foot in there all the props were in there. I put on the headphones and listened to the original sound first, to get an idea of the timing and how it sounds. Then i got recorded, i had to take a big brrath before as it went on for a few seconds but whilst doing it i found it easy. The first take was really good but i done another one just to be safe. Listening to it back was really cool, getting to see how it looked with the boiling coffe pot visuals.

I found it a really unique expereicne and one that i would defenatly do again.
