My name is Felix Long. I am 20 years of age and I'm an actor and musician. I am originally from London but I have recently moved back to the UK after living in Singapore for ten years. My passion for performing started at the tender age of just nine years old. Since then I have performed in a number of plays, musicals and concerts in the UK, Singapore and USA. I have a diploma in performance at Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore and graduated in 2020. I am currently doing a degree in Acting and Performance at Sheffield Hallam University.
I've been involved in a wide range of productions in both theatre and film such as Romeo & Juiliet, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Fame. Back in 2015 I had the pleasure of performing at The Juilliard School in New York City when I won a global music competition called 'The Global Orchestra'. I was chosen to sing in the choir and we performed a number of songs ranging from pop to classic French music. I also had a role in John Cranko's Romeo & Juliet, Stuttgart Ballet at the Esplanade Theatre (Singapore). I worked with the American Ballet Theatre in 2018 when I was in Swan Lake. During the production, I was fortunate enough to share the stage with the one and only Misty Copeland. These were all fantastic experiences.
On top of having experience in western theatre and film, I also have previous experince in different Asian art forms. One of my favourite productions was when I did Bungsawen - a Malaysian Art form which includes traditional Malay dance, singing and acting. I played the noble prince who is in search for his princess. During this production, I had to learn to speak Malay and had to sing a traditional Malay song which was a struggle at first but I picked up the language well.
When I'm not performing, I enjoy writing and producing music, DJing, and keeping fit.

Felix, this is a great bio and introduction to you as a performer. You've evidently got lots of experience to draw upon and I especially like that you've had the opportunity to engage in some non-western performance practices. A really strong headshot too! :)
