Background into my acting life

Background into my acting life

My name is Ronin Gillespie-Griffiths, my acting experience stems mostly from amatuer dramatic societies and school shows. Examples of these shows and my roles are - Beast in Beauty and the Beast as a part of Stagecoach, Peter in Prince Caspian as a part of Hayling Island Amatatuer Dramatics Society, Rolfe Gruber in The Sound of Music that was shown in my school, and more.

I studied Drama and Theatre studies in college as one of my A-levels which made me realise I'm much more interested in Film and Voice acting.

I have always been interested in films and voiceovers as people in school and college would say I'm good at comedic impressions of actors and celebs. I believe that films and performances are essential to life as performance is all around us and can be used to bring joy to anyone.

I am excited to further my skills in the acting field and gain more experience through my studies to hopefully fufill my dream of becoming a professional actor.

  • Welcome to the community, Ronin! :) This is a lovely bio, and it makes your interest in film and voice acting really clear. You'll have a great time working with Neil and Hayley this year, and I look forward to seeing (and listening to) your work when it's all incorporated into your Actor's website!

  • Very interesting Ronin. I'm intrigued to learn more about your voiceover experience and to hear the celebrity impressions. Also would be good to see some photos to add to your profile from your experiences.

    • Yes Matt, I agree, I'd love to hear some of Ronin's celebrity impressions! :)
