During our welcome week, we were greatful enough to be gifted with a great icebreaker with a workshop located at Endcliffe park. Endcliffe park is located within the heart of Sheffield which made it a great place to act alongside our coursemates and the public.
This trip started with walm ups in a circle, then partnering up with someone we didn't know and explain what we did in the morning; which our other partner had to remember. After this we had to pair up with a different pair which formed our performance group for the day.
The leader of our course, Tom Payne, delegated us all locations dotted around the field and allowed us to devise a performance based on our location. Our group was very fortunate to be performing under a beautiful tree and a green space around it.
We decided to incorporate a cult like style into our performance where we did not want anyone touching the tree as it is sacrid to the memebers of the village only. This made our performance have a thriller style, which gave the audience a more interesting piece to watch especially under a giant tree. The performance ended with us leading four memebers of the audience to touch the tree and us spiraling out of control. We thought this would be an interesting ending allowing the audience remaining in shock.
