Hi! I'm Ruby and I have lived in Manchester my entire life so I am very excited to be able to live somewhere new and explore the city. My interests outside of acting and theatre include reading, baking, cycling and binge watching netflix.
Any time I watch a performance I am inspired to perform and create, however, one piece that really inspired me was Neil Gaiman's Ocean at the End of the Lane, which I saw in Liverpool in 2023. This performance introduced me to a new, creative style of theatre and taught me how immersive it could be. I was then lucky enough to be in a performance of Gaiman's A Curious Incident of a Dog in the Nighttime a few months later and got to explore even more of this style as a performer not an audience member, which was so fun.
I'm mainly excited to meet more likeminded people and be able to explore new acting styles with talented people. I am excited to see what we will get up to on the course!!
