Hi,
Late starter here. My name is Tibble. I am from London but have lived in Sheffield for 8 years now. I am a bar manager and have been working in hospotality for 10 years and I think by this point you can tell I'm probably a little bit older than most people on this course. I am 27 years old. I play rugby for a team called Sheffield Vulcans. They are an all-inclusive rugby team and we are as of last season UK IGR National runner ups. As I mentioned previously I am a bar manager my main times are spent working festivals over the summer, so I am all over the country running bars just having a vibe as you can probably tell in that picture.
I have chosen to study acting and performace as I have had a love and enjoyment for TV and movies since I was 14 doing drama in secondary school. I also attending a short term drama school growing up so that also helped spark the passion for the performing arts. Shows like Billy Elliott and (a show I am et to see) Six: The Musical have also inspired me as they are long-running shows that have seen a variety of actors take on the main charactor parts and showcase different variety of the actors take on the charactor. Simular to my favourite show, Doctor Who.
My passion has always been TV show presenting. I have wanted to be a TV show presenter form when I started watchign shows such as The X Factor and Big Brother. The ability to conduct interviews and keep an audience live and at home engaged in the program has been a skill I feel I posess which got me into hosting pub quizzes. I love hosting my pub quizzes as I get to interact and engage an auidence of different ages anf get to know regualar visitors. Over COVID lockdown I also moved my pub quiz to broadcasting live each week over Facebook to entertain people at home, which was picked up by people in Sheffield, Nottingham and London.
I am excited to explore more and develop my skills as a performer and become a ranged performer and not fit into one box. Hopefully I by the end og the course I would also have nteworked enough to work in televison looking into steps into becomeing a tv presentor or even get a little walk-on role in a show on stage or tv.
