"While I’m fully aware how hard the pandemic has hit us all and this isn’t an ideal time to go on a venture like this, I do think it’s important to at least try and keep going as an independent filmmaker myself. If for nothing else than to show people that there is and will be a grassroots film industry in this country to come back to once all this madness is over. And that’s not just up to me of course, but up to filmmakers everywhere.

Personal Notes, Melanie Hopkins:
I'm so thankful to be back on set again in September. After graduating, I've been lucky to sustain a creative career full time. Because of the current climate, it's been unspeakabley difficult to maintain this career. This will be my first return to a film set and with an all female cast. I am beyond excited. It's a fantastic script written by a very lovely creative, Alex Joseph. The passion and dedication from all of us is admirable. I really believe in this film and we all want it to happen. It’s going to be a crowd funded film so it's always a struggle relying on kind donations from people from all over. But we need everyone’s help to donate, share, even talk about this film to help us reach our first target for principal photography. If anyone could help out with anything you might be able to give, as little as £1 would be a great start. Thank you!
