My name is Grace, I'm 19 from South of London in Kent. Taking part in my local amateur dramatic pantomimes gave me my first taste of performance and I was captured by the singing, dancing, and sense of community that such a small cast could put together.
I continued my love of performance into school, choosing to take GCSE and A Level Drama and Theatre. I studied Drama, Education and Community at York St.John University for one year before transferring to Sheffield Hallam. Throughout my education I have been in many performances, however a definite highlight would be Yerma by Federico Garcia Lorca which I did in Upper Sixth (2020)
I recently had a role in a friends short film entitled Fear Four. The experience of being filmed introduced me to a style I had never thought to explore, but found I completely loved. I found the same when aiding in a third years radio play ‘Pass It On’ at York St John, in which I played the drummer of a band.

In future I would love to act with a company such as Gecko as I love their energetic and unique style, combining choreographed movement, breath and detailed storytelling. I am also interested in stage combat, and the choreography and planning that goes into what otherwise looks like a genuine fight.

Grace, this is a lovely bio, really clear, nicely written, and sufficiently detailed to get a sense of who you are as a performer. :) If you're into physical theatre you might be interested to find out about some of the companies in the north of england too. Forced Entertainment are just across the road from Hallam, and they make really thought provoking work that's physical, provocative and comic too!
I thought it was a strong bio! I would have liked to hear a little more about your past performances as they sounded interesting. Maybe add another photo of some kind just so it's a bit more eye catching. Apart from that it's lovely :)
