Olive: A Short Comedy

Olive: A Short Comedy

Hey Everyone!

I hope that you are all keeping well, and looking after yourselves during this bleak winter? I just wanted to write a short blog about a comedy that I'm acting in called 'Olive'. Olive is a short film which satirises what life is like in the dating arena, if any of you remember that magical place called 2019 where dating was legal, but I digress. We follow Olive (played by Lucy Nicholson) who is on a mission, a journey to find her perfect man, a man who meets all of her expectations, someone handsome, well-connected, and made of money. Someone she can play her music to, rant to, and generally just talk about herself to, I mean being a self-proclaimed musician and influencer is really the only thing that matters in this day and age. As she progresses on her journey, she realises that finding the perfect man is easier said than done.

Olive will hopefully be shooting in March and will be directed by the amazingly talented Flora Lopategui, and produced by Joe Archer, the Co-Founder of Window Zebra Productions. Currently Olive has a Crowdfunder page set up on Greenlit, this is due to the fact that we are looking to increase the budget of the film so we can distribute it to as many film festivals as possible, so any donations that you can give in order to support this film, especially during this pandemic would be greatly appreciated. The cast & crew of this project are immeasurably talented and incredibly hardworking, and your support will go a long way! Follow the link below to view the crowdfunder page on Greenlit, and thankyou so much for taking your time to read this, I'm very much looking forward to playing the role of Toby in this production.
