in the first week or two of this moudle we would start building our websites, putting everything we would need to reach and show casting directors and agents.
I was lucky and had already built a mostly finsished website in my previous studies at college. my website included a showreel, headshots, cv and socail media links to acting accounts i had already set up. Learning more about websites including themes and a brand was interesting as its something i had'nt thought about before. My theme was pink and the font was girly and i chose to keep this theme from college as i thought it fit me but i did wnat to refine it, i played around with font and different shades until i found a combnation that looked visually pleasing and that i felt represented me. I tried taking the colour pallet from my favouitre film, little women (2019), but although being a beautiful colour story i feel that didnt represnt me so I kept the pink theme.
I chose to re-do my CV too, not only to match the rest of my portfolio making it coheasive but also as i looked back on my old one and i didnt like how it was layed out or how it represented my past expeience. Re-doing it i made it pink and added headshots and made it more consise so its easier to read. I found out that the original white text colour i had invisioned for my website didnt look right agaisnt the pink, it was too washed out and made it hard to read which is not something you would want, i had to change it to black which i thought would ruin my girly and clean aesthetic however it ended up making me look important through how bold it was, and with the font i chose it stil looked good. I chose my brand becuase ive always been described as a pink character, i am quite girly and like to present myself in this way. "The bright and bold design of Pink Products is eye-catching, stylish, and modern with a fun feel." It was a bit of a battle to get the balence right between playful and young whilst still being proffetinal, however i think through my use of headings, titles and the pictures and videos i used to show my experience were good in showing both sides of me.
