I grew up in Wakefield, a small city that to begin with didn't have a large passion for the performing arts, I'm happy to say that as I grew up and embraced my enthusiasm for acting, so did my little City. Whilst my overall performance experience theatre wise is limited, I have been lucky enough to take part in some paid acting gigs, like 24 hours in Wakefield, produced by Paul Bateson in 2021. I also played Mrs Lynch in my College's adaption of Greasein 2018, which was the first musical I had ever been involved with. When I’m not a character in a show, I aim to help out as much as I can backstage, so I have experience in show photography and putting together a show program. Directing is also a key element that I love, and it helped me embrace the teaching side of drama, opening doors for those who share my joy. I ran my own KS3 drama club throughout college and was able to put together a full Christmas variety show with a running cast order and a full audience of proud parents. I want to take these skills forward in life and put that towards teaching theatre full time.
